Four generations is a long time and it takes a significant effort to have traditions carry on generation after generation. We are fortunate to have one such tradition in our family.
My grandmother spent countless hours of tender loving care crocheting baby blankets for friends and loved ones. Each baby blanket was unique and carried with it her very own personal touch. Having a blanket made by Grandma Andersen meant more than just having something to wrap the baby in. You carried a piece of her heart with you everywhere you went. Grandma loved babies and would do anything she could to help care for them. More than anything else, she loved to wrap them tightly in a soft blanket and cradle them until the fell to sleep. That tradition has now been passed on to the fourth generation of daughters and we are grateful for her example and never ending love.
After much consideration we felt it was time to share these wonderful creations with others and therefore launched The Baby Drawer. Currently we create and market amazingly soft receiving blankets and pacifier clips. Be sure to check back often as our styles and products will continue to expand to include other baby accessories.
